This policy explains what Ian Jenkins Hitting LLC (Jenkins Baseball, "we" or "us") collects through this website, including the parent fit check at /start, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Your contact details: first and last name, mobile number and email.
  • Details about your athlete: first name, sport and grade.
  • Your fit check answers: the big goal, the area to work on first, current training, timing and who will join the call.
  • A record of your text message consent: the consent wording, when you agreed and the page you were on.
  • How you found us: the ad, campaign or link that brought you here (for example UTM tags and Meta ad and click IDs), the first page you visited and the site that sent you.
  • Meta's browser cookies (_fbp and _fbc), when your browser has them.
  • The details you enter when you book a call in our scheduling calendar.

How we use it

  • To contact you about your inquiry and your coaching call by phone, text or email.
  • To prepare the coach for your call, and to coach your athlete if you join.
  • To see which ads and pages bring families to us, and to improve the fit check.

Text messages

We only text you if you check the consent box on the fit check. Then Jenkins Baseball may text you about your inquiry and your booking.

Checking the box is optional. You can still send the fit check and book a call without it.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent is not a condition of purchase.

We do not share your mobile number or your text message consent with anyone else for their own marketing.

Meta pixel and ad measurement

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. When you send the fit check, we tell Meta that a lead came in. With it we send a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email, phone number and name, your IP address and browser type, and Meta's cookies, so Meta can match the visit to an ad.

We never send Meta anything about your athlete.

You can change your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser.

Who we share it with

Our coaching team sees your details so they can prepare for your call. We also use service providers to run the business: our CRM and scheduling provider, where your details, answers and booking are stored; our website host; and Meta for ad measurement as described above. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

We do not sell your personal information.

Children

The fit check is for parents and guardians. When a high school athlete starts it, we ask for a parent or guardian's contact details, not the athlete's. We do not knowingly collect contact details from children under 13.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while we are in touch with you or coaching your athlete, and afterwards only as long as we need it for our records or the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email us at the address below. To stop texts, reply STOP.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
